Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate
Science & Benefits
Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate is a skin-friendly, non-ionic surfactant and solubilizer derived from glycerin and lauric acid. In high-performance acne formulations, it is used to integrate oil-soluble actives (like Vitamin E or Tea Tree Oil) into water-based serums without making them greasy. Because it is a 'large-molecule' ester, it does not penetrate or clog the follicle (rating 0). It leaves a silky, hydrating finish and helps to improve the skin's barrier function. It is a 'bulletproof' alternative to harsh ethoxylated surfactants for sensitive, breakout-prone complexions.
