A post-biotic ingredient obtained from the lysate of Lactococcus lactis. It influences the speed and quality of epidermal growth, leading to a better barrier function and increased production of antimicrobial peptides. It is entirely non-comedogenic. Its logic for acne is 'microbiome management'; by supporting the skin's beneficial flora, it creates an environment where C. acnes is less likely to become pathogenic and cause inflammatory lesions.
