This is a bio-fermented version of papaya fruit. The fermentation process with Lactobacillus stabilizes the papain enzyme and increases the availability of amino acids and fruit sugars. It functions as a proteolytic humectant, meaning it digests the protein bonds of dead skin cells while simultaneously drawing water into the epidermis. It is entirely non-comedogenic and zero-irritant.
