Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract contains xanthohumol, a flavonoid with documented antimicrobial and 'sedative' effects on the skin's nervous response. It helps to inhibit the activity of elastase and collagenase enzymes, which can be overactive during inflammatory acne flares.
