Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer is a synthetic rheology modifier that acts as a powerful emulsion stabilizer. Unlike traditional Carbomers, it has a 'hydrophobically modified' structure that allows it to hold both water and a small amount of oil in a stable, weightless gel network. It is entirely non-comedogenic (rating 0) and zero-irritant. In acne-safe formulations, it is a 'bulletproof' thickener that creates a cooling, 'water-break' sensation upon application, providing hydration without any of the stickiness or pore-clogging potential of heavy waxes.
